New control system for more efficient operation
In 2023, we carried out a major modernization of the control system at the biogas plant in Dobruška. We replaced the original Simatic S7-300 with our SandRA system, which brought higher reliability and more efficient technology management. The modifications included replacing the PLC and I/O, creating new software and visualization with a modern operator station that allows easier control of the entire process.
Extension to biomethane injection technology
In 2024, we expanded the station to include the control of new fermenters, feed storage and connection to the technology for purification and injection of biomethane into the distribution network. We supplied new electrical and MaR switchgear, which is now fully interconnected with the entire system. Thanks to this upgrade, the operator can better manage the energy produced and flexibly choose between selling electricity or gas.
