Reliable control system
As part of the modernization of the control system of the biogas plant in Starosedlský Hrádek, operated since 2012, we supplied a reliable Czech control system SandRA.
The 835 kW biogas plant processes biomass for energy production and at the same time uses waste heat to heat the office building and workshops, and the resulting digestate also serves as a quality fertilizer.
Implementation in 10 days without production interruption
We supplied the SandRA Z210 central control unit for the biogas plant and we also successfully used the existing remote IO units. The visualization is based on the Reliance SCADA system. By replacing the control system, the operator also obtained warranty and post-warranty service from ZAT, a company based in the Czech Republic.
The overall replacement of the biogas plant control system was carried out in a very short time and the fully automated operation was resumed in ten days. Even the implementation process did not require the shutdown of the biogas plant technology itself, at any time during the exchange, the biogas plant could be controlled in manual mode.
