At the Czech-French summit we discussed cooperation with 12 French companies
The Czech and French industries are among the leaders of the nuclear industry in Europe. Thanks to the tender for the construction of new nuclear power plants in the Czech Republic, the two countries are also coming closer together in terms of cooperation between companies with nuclear know-how. To give them the opportunity to get to know each other better and to establish or deepen supplier-customer relations, a Czech-French industrial cooperation summit with an afternoon of B2B meetings was held in Prague at the beginning of April.
As a major supplier of control systems to the nuclear power egineering and a founding member of the Czech Power Industry Alliance, we held twelve business meetings with representatives of French companies at the event.
"We attended the summit with the aim of deepening our cooperation with French companies and in some cases to take the already discussed cooperation further," says Karel Stočes, who together with František Kural attended the meeting. According to him, ZAT's interest in the B2B meetings was to negotiate with companies that are either senior suppliers or have the same focus within the SCM (control and management systems). "These were both for nuclear and conventional power supply," adds Karel Stočes.
The event was attended by 30 French and 22 Czech companies. The organisers were the Czech Power Industry Alliance (CPIA) and GIFEN - the Association of French Industrial Suppliers of Nuclear Power Equipment.
