65% of supplies during the construction of the New nuclear power source in the Czech Republic can be provided by Czech companies

This message was sent by member companies of the Czech Power Industry Alliance at a press conference held on April 25 in Prague.

Six important Czech suppliers to the nuclear power industry presented to journalists their possibilities and competences in supplies for new nuclear units. The event was also attended by Tomáš Ehler, Deputy Chief Director of the Energy and Nuclear Resources Section of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and Petr Závodský, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Dukovany II a.s. power plant.

Our company, as a founding member of the Czech Power Industry Alliance, presented here the modern SandRA control system designed for primary and secondary parts and related nuclear technologies, including services.

"Our company's know-how includes knowledge of the legislation of the specific country and compliance with tough international regulations. Our control systems are deployed at 43 nuclear units in 7 countries, specifically in France, Ukraine, Slovakia, Hungary, Finland, the Czech Republic and Armenia. We believe that the Czech system will also be able to control the newly built nuclear units in Dukovany, i.e. in Temelín," said František Kural, director of marketing and sales, who represented ZAT at the press conference.
