We welcomed top representatives of the EDF supply chain in Příbram
Following the European Nuclear Suppliers' Days, which took place in Paris at the beginning of June, we welcomed senior representatives of EDF's supply chain management to ZAT in Příbram.
Alain Tranzer, EDF Group Executive Vice President, was accompanied by Vakisasai Ramany, EDF Vice President for International Nuclear Development, Sarah Illouz, Director of the EPR1200 offering for CEZ a.s. and others.
ZAT was one of five companies visited by EDF representatives in the Czech Republic. "The aim of the visit was to get personally acquainted with the industrial base of the Czech Republic for subsequent negotiations on specific future involvement of Czech manufacturers in EDF's EPR programme. In other words, it is not only about the project of new nuclear resources in Dukovany and Temelín NPP, but also about the involvement of Czech companies in other EDF projects outside the Czech Republic," says Karel Stočes, marketing and sales director of ZAT's nuclear energy division.
During the visit, the EDF representatives were mainly interested in our competences and products for nuclear power, and toured the production facilities in Příbram and the FAT test centre in Plzeň.
"According to the EDF representatives, they highly appreciated the competence, readiness and modern production facilities of ZAT for deliveries to the nuclear power industry," adds Karel Stočes.
