New software for the management of mandatory surveillance of medical devices to be presented at MEDICA
From 11-14 November, the largest medical trade fair MEDICA 2024 takes place at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre, which regularly hosts over 5,000 exhibitors of medical technology and equipment from all over the world.
The fair is dedicated to new developments in the field of healthcare and medical devices. ZAT, as a member of the AVDZP, presents its products and innovations here in cooperation with the MIT every year.
"This year we are bringing to Düsseldorf the latest software innovation for medical device manufacturers. According to the new European MDR regulation, they are obliged to ensure systematic post-market surveillance for their products. We offer them a cloud-based solution. At the same time, we are once again going to exhibit our Ozosmart ozone therapy device at the fair for potential distributors," says Roman Plavec, Sales and Marketing Director for Healthcare at ZAT.
The software developed by ZAT on the SimONet (Smart Information and Monitoring Network) platform will provide a simple and effective solution for the required permanent monitoring of medical devices, including data collection. "SimONet simplifies this process by automating data collection and analysis, providing clear information on risks and facilitating the creation of reports for regulatory authorities. This allows manufacturers to spend more time on innovation and quality assurance of their products," adds Roman Plavec.
