Jaroslav Scharf Jr. is the new Chairman of the ZAT Board of Directors as of 1 January 2024.

As of 31 December 2023, Mr Jaroslav Scharf retired as Chairman of the Board of Directors after 27 years. Jaroslav Scharf Jr. took his place as of 1 January 2024.

"I am joining the management of the company at a time when ZAT is in good shape, with a number of significant deals on the table, both in the power engineering sector and in other fields in which ZAT specialises. There are, of course, many challenges ahead, not only our involvement in the European nuclear power boom, but also new industries of the future for which we have innovative new products in the pipeline. I very much appreciate the fact that ZAT has a great and stable team of top employees and I look forward to working with them and our partners to develop the company," says Jaroslav Scharf Jr.

Jaroslav Scharf Sr. will continue to own 100% of the shares in ZAT. Ivo Tichý and Vladislava Česáková are the long-term members of the Board of Directors.
