Deployment of new processor boards in contracts for power engineering

As part of the development and lifecycle maintenance of the SandRA platform, we have launched the new BB0037M1 processor board, which follows the proven BB0001M2 processor card.

"The new series once again meets all ZAT product standards, i.e. maximum reliability and security with the benefits of processing speed, storage space and integration of new communication protocols," says Tomas Kadlec, Head of the Testing Expert Group at ZAT.

We have already deployed the new processor board in orders for the power engineering. They have been installed in projects to control a compressor driven by a 4MW FM motor when the electric motor is located in an explosion hazardous environment. Here we implement all sequential operations (start-up, operation, normal stop, emergency stop) for parallel or series operation. It controls the arrangement of the compressor sections, regulation of the output gas temperature, regulation of the engine and compressor oil temperature, regulation of the gas pressure at the suction of the sections, safety anti-pumping protection, power regulation of the gas quantity or pressure at the compressor station output realized via FM communication control PROFIBUS-DP.
